Growing up on a huge mountainous farm Michel’s mother taught her and her 2 sisters how to cook and bake since a very young age using grandma’s recipes. Since they lived very far away from the local town – they needed to bake their own treats if they wanted some! Their next door neighbor was her Italian Aunt whom she remembers fondly chopping up fresh Italian herbs from her own garden to create her lovely food. Growing up in a diverse background Michel was widely influenced and still inspired today by Greek, Italian and Indian cuisine. Vacations were spent baking cookies, cake and bread or going hiking in the mountains.
